Ghana vs Uruguay prediction
Ghana have been really well bet this morning but they have been backed too far imo, they have been ultra-clinical in their matches so far and I would have question if they can keep that up? So far they have scored 5 goals from just 6 shots, which is a rate no team can keep going. IN addition to a place in the last 16 this game is a real grudge match, these 2 teams met in the 2010 world cup quarter final where Luiz Suarez handled a ball on the line only for Ghana to miss the resulting penalty and Uruguay then went on tp win the penalty shoot out. For me Uruguay have been a little unlucky but have been disappointing too at the same but they have a much the better team, they are a team that are made up of players from top European clubs such as Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Napoli, Lazio, Roma Tottenham, Manchester United and Liverpool, I am trusting that these players finally step up against a Ghana side who were probably a little lucky to get the win v South Korea and look defensively fragile after conceding 5 goals in just 2 games. I don't understand the goal line in this match, it feels very low in a match that could potentially see both teams having to chase goals, obviously Uruguay are defensively solid and have not scored yet but they have goals in them and recorded an xG of 1.1 v Portugal in a game i thought they were unlucky in, they will need to go for the win meaning they may not be more adventurous than previous matches which will hopefully lead to a more open game and suit our bets.
