West Ham vs Southampton Prediction
The market has moved against West Ham this morning but their team news is fine and whilst they are winless in their last 5 matches they have played well in some of those games and unlucky not to record a victory in that run. I believe the reason why West Ham have been opposed and Southampton have been bet this morning is bettors believe the Saints are more motivated as they won't want this unwanted record of being the worst ever Premier league team and by failing to surpass Derby's total of just 11 points back in the 07/08 season. However if West Ham play to the level they played at last weekend away to Liverpool I can't see how this Southampton team will be able to stay with them and at home I believe they can get the job done, so I am betting West Ham -1. I am also betting over 2.75 goals scored., There should be plenty of goals today with the reasoning being in 13 of Southampton's last 14 games at least 3 goals have been scored and I can see both teams scoring today in what should be a good and hopefully entertaining watch with the pressure largely off both teams they should be able to play with freedom but West Ham at home and with the better team should be get the job done of covering this handicap.
